Benee, the New Zealand singer who broke out last year with her hit "Supalonely," has just released her second single of 2021: "Doesn't Matter."

The song is about her mental health struggles, and in a statement, she says, "This year has been very difficult for me and many other people, and I’ve had times that I’ve really felt my lowest. I wrote ‘Doesn't Matter’ during one of these periods when I felt truly overwhelmed, anxious, and stuck.  I was diagnosed with OCD, which actually helped me understand myself better."

"This song ponders on what it would be like to feel truly carefree and how much easier life would be," she continues. "Sometimes, it’s hard for people who don’t suffer from anxiety or depression to really understand what it’s like for us. People telling you not to worry or saying ‘it doesn’t matter’ don’t understand that it’s not that simple."

"Having had help to learn how to deal with my own anxiety and depression, I want others to know that there is a way through," she adds.  Benee shared more about her feelings in an Instagram post earlier this month on World Mental Health Day.

Last week, Benee teamed up with Nashville singer/songwriter Dreamer Boy for a new song called "Are You Letting Go?"  She has plans for more music in the near future, and a tour lined up for 2022.

Ed Sheeran's album isn't here quite yet, but that didn't stop him from giving fans a taste of what to expect.

During an impressive NPR Tiny Desk Concert, which premiered on Tuesday, the British singer-songwriter previewed an unreleased song titled "Overpass Graffiti." The song, which is set to appear on his upcoming album, = (Equals), is set to an upbeat, bouncy beat while the lyrics tell a story of someone who will always have fond memories of his previous lover, despite their break up.

"I will always love you for what it's worth/ We'll never fade like graffiti on the overpass/ I know time may change the way you think of us/ But I'll remember the way we were," Sheeran sings in the chorus.

Sheeran also performed "Visiting Hours," "Shivers" and "Bad Habits," his hit singles that preceded the album, in addition to a surprise cover of Foy Vance's "Make it Rain."

= (Equals) is due out Friday, October 29.

Shawn Mendes collaborated with Latin hitmaker Tainy on his recent single, "Summer of Love," and now his girlfriend Camila Cabello is also working with the Puerto Rican songwriter and producer.

Camila has announced a new single, "Oh Na Na," dropping on Friday, a collaboration with Tainy and Puerto Rican rapper and singer Myke Towers.

Presumably the song is from Camila's forthcoming album, Familia, which has already spun off the single "Don't Go Yet."  Camila performed another new song from the album, "La Buena Vida," on her NPR Tiny Desk Concert earlier this month.

The chorus of Camila's hit "Havana" features her singing "Ooh na na," so perhaps this song is a callback to that one.  We'll find out on Friday.

JoJo recently released her latest EP, Trying Not to Think About It, and she then did a series of intimate, sold-out dates across the country.  Now she's announced a world tour for 2022.

The tour kicks off February 19 in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, and the first leg wraps up April 16 in Ottawa. In between, the "Leave (Get Out)" singer will visit 24 U.S. cities.  She'll then head to the U.K. and Europe for 15 shows, which are scheduled through May 30.  Tickets go on sale this Friday starting at 10 a.m. local time via IAmJojoOfficial.com.

"Performing live is one of my favorite parts of being an artist," says JoJo in a statement. "It felt so right being back onstage for those dates in October, and I can't wait to do it on a bigger scale in more cities next year!"

After performing the six-date mini tour, JoJo told E! News, "To have the audience singing back the lyrics of this new music was just so special and so affirming and gratifying."

The songs on the EP tackled JoJo's struggle with anxiety, depression, negative thoughts, self-sabotage and more, but she told E! that being able to perform them live has "been a part of me coming back to feeling like myself again."

Ahead of the Friday release of his new album, = (Equals), Ed Sheeran is giving fans a preview of all 14 tracks on the project, via YouTube Shorts.

Ed has created a brief video clip for each song on the album, featuring a snippet of the song and some kind of visual. For "Shivers," he's wearing a suit and dipping his foot into a bathtub filled with ice water.  In the song "First Times," you can see Ed snuggling with his wife Cherry.  The clip for "The Joker & the Queen" features Ed and Cherry's two cats.

In the song "Visiting Hours," written in memory of his late friend, concert promoter Michael Gudinski, Ed shows off "4 Things You Wish They'd Been There To See": Ed's new album, his wedding to Cherry, his daughter Lyra, and the fact that he accidentally ordered a pallet of Michael's favorite wine.

You can watch all 14 of the Shorts, one after another, now on YouTube.  You can also create your own videos using the clips, and post them with the hashtag #SheeranShorts.  Ed wrote on Instagram that he's going to "pick some favorites to win some custom signed artwork."

"I had a really fun day shooting my YouTube Shorts,” said Ed in a statement. "I’ve always really enjoyed the music video process, so it was fun to explore a new way of doing that by channeling each song’s theme in a unique way, while also giving you a sneak peek of the album!”

Ed is currently quarantining, having announced over the weekend that he tested positive for COVID-19.

This holiday, all you need is love, Katy Perry and some outfits from the Gap.

Katy stars in the clothing retailer's new holiday campaign, singing the Beatles' classic song "All You Need Is Love." In the commercials, Katy gets up, gets dressed, gets in a car and is driven to a set of a Gap commercial, where she sings the Fab Four's 1967 number-one hit while people and couples frolic around her, all sporting Gap winter wear as artificial snow falls.

Katy is releasing her full-length version of the song today.  One dollar from every stream on Spotify, up to $100,000, will be donated to Baby2Baby, a charity that provides kids living in poverty with the basic necessities of life.

"I'm always excited to work with brands that are going the extra mile to make this world a better, happier place," says Katy in a statement. "Reimagining one of the most recognizable and emotional songs of our time with an iconic brand like Gap, having such a special and important message, has been a dream."

"And what better reason to partner than bringing people together to spread joy for the holidays and raise money for Baby2Baby, a charity that's close to my heart?" says the mother of one-year-old Daisy Dove. "Children are our future. We need to lift kids and help them find their value, self-worth and self-respect."

John Legend can't remember a time when his life was not filled with music. He grew up in a Pentecostal church in Springfield, Ohio, where his entire family was involved. His grandfather was the pastor, his grandmother was the organist, his mother was the choir director, and his father played drums during church service, so he knew he was destined to create music.

"I begged my parents to give me piano lessons when I was four years old," the EGOT winner says during his "At the Summit" promo video for the new Song Start music-education video and podcast series. Legend is one of several stars who serve in the program as mentors for aspiring artists.

During his 21-year career, Legend has achieved tremendous success, as well as becoming a strong advocate for social justice. He says he's fulfilling the goal he set for himself while he was in high school.

"When I was 15, I wrote an essay for Black History Month, and the prompt was, How do you plan to make Black history?" the 45-year-old entertainer recalls. "I said at the age of 15, I want to become a successful musician and to use my success to give back to my community and speak out for more justice and make people lives better."

He speaks out for more justice with his Free America organization, which fights for reform in the judicial system.

Legend finished his Bigger Love tour Wednesday in Indianapolis. As previously reported, he recorded a "virtual" duet with the late Nat King Cole, adding his vocals to Cole's signature holiday classic, "The Christmas Song (Chestnuts Roasting on an Open Fire)," that's featured on A Sentimental Christmas with Nat King Cole and Friends: Cole Classics Reimagined, which will be released October 29.

The Weeknd has teamed up with reunited house music supergroup Swedish House Mafia on the new track “Moth to a Flame,” out today. The group tells Apple Music the collaboration came to be because they were mutual fans of each other.

"When you vibe with somebody and you appreciate their art, I think you just connect," Swedish House Mafia's Steve Angello said. Along with the song, Swedish House Mafia announced their first global tour in more than a decade.

Christina Aguilera is embracing her Latin roots on her new Spanish-language track, "Pa Mis Muchachas" -- which translates as "For My Girls" --  featuring Nathy Peluso, Becky G and Nicki Nicole. Xtina tells Billboard the song is “an homage to women.” "We wanted to make sure that this was definitely a representation of Latin women who are the strength of a family, the backbone,” she says. The song is the first single off Christina's upcoming Spanish-language project, her first since 2000’s Mi Reflejo.

DJ Snake has released a star-studded new single called "SG." It stands for "sexy girl" and features Latin superstar Ozuna, Megan Thee Stallion, and Lisa of BLACKPINK, "uniting artists across three continents and four countries," according to a press release. The song's video features all four artists frolicking in Miami.

Australian singer-songwriter Dean Lewis, who scored a huge hit in 2018 with "Be Alright," is back with a new single and video, "Looks Like Me."  The song's uptempo but is about the end of a relationship. "It was just one of those relationships that never quite came together--– no matter how much I wanted it to," Dean says of the song.

He laughs, "One night on the phone, we were living in different cities, she told me she was hanging with a guy who looked like me. So you’d rather be with someone who looks like me -- than the 'actual me!'”

Adele continues to shatter records with her new song "Easy On Me," which she released last week.

Variety reports that a record number of radio stations started playing "Easy On Me" in its first week of release and gave the single the most plays across a seven-day period in radio history: A total of 451 radio stations reported that they immediately put the single into rotation.

Furthermore, "Easy On Me" enjoyed the most single-week plays across five different musical formats, with over 6,000 total plays, making Adele the only artist to achieve this feat.

Adele's doing pretty well on YouTube, too, where the video for "Easy On Me" has racked up over 99.2 million total views since it was posted on October 14.
