Miley Cyrus locked in her New Year's Eve plans and will ring in 2022 alongside Saturday Night Live star Pete Davidson on NBC.

Rumors of the television event first surfaced in September, when Vulture reported Miley was cooking something up with SNL head honcho Lorne Michaels.  NBC confirmed the reports on Monday in a press release.

The event, titled Miley’s New Year’s Eve Party Hosted By Miley Cyrus and Pete Davidson, will be an all-out bash featuring "a star-studded lineup of special guests and musical performances" that will make NBC's New Year's countdown "a must watch evening."

Details about who else will be joining Miley and Pete from Miami, Florida, are closely under wraps.  As previously reported, this also means that Miley is taking the reins from Carson Daly, who's hosted NBC's New Year's Eve telecast since 2004.

The special, which Lorne will executive produce, airs Friday, December 31, at 10:30 p.m. ET on NBC and the Peacock streaming service.

We've got our first look at the upcoming Netflix special Jonas Brothers Family Roast, and it's none other than Pete Davidson who's delivering the sick burns to Nick, Kevin and Joe in the preview clip.

Host Kenan Thompson asks his fellow SNL star, "So, you're a fan?"  To which Pete replies, "Oh, I'm a huge fan. I listen to the Jonas Brothers every time I'm at the grocery store."

Pete adds we should "show some respect" because "Nick's a legit actor now" -- and then delivers the zinger: "He's won everything from a Kids' Choice Award to a Teen Choice Award!"

Next, Pete mentions that Nick had a hit called "Jealous" -- "though it would've been way more believable if Kevin was singing it."

Jonas Brothers Family Roast streams on Netflix November 23. In addition to previously announced guests Niall Horan, Gabriel “Fluffy” Iglesias, John Legend, Lilly Singh and Jack Whitehall, all three JoBros' wives have been added to the lineup: Priyana Chopra Jonas, Sophie Turner and Danielle Jonas

In addition, Nick's former The Voice co-star Blake Shelton will be on hand to offer even more insults.

The singer not only was able to perform as planned on SNL, but his album = (Equals) debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 chart.

On SNL, Ed performed two songs off the album:  “Shivers” and “Overpass Graffiti.” He also participated in a sketch, playing himself as a guest on The Dionne Warwick Talk Show. Ego Nwodim as Dionne asks him a series of hilarious questions, starting with the first one: “You did a song called ‘South of the Border.’ My question is, are you nasty?”

“Yeah, a little bit,” Ed replies with a grin.

The sketch also featured Chloe Fineman as Miley Cyrus, Pete Davidson as Post Malone, SNL host and Succession star Kieran Culkin as Jason Mraz and a surprise appearance from the real Dionne Warwick herself.
