Jessie J has announced that she suffered a miscarriage. The "Domino" singer, who had been keeping her pregnancy a secret from fans, shared the sad news on Instagram today.

"Yesterday morning I was laughing with a friend saying 'seriously though how am I going to get through my gig in LA tomorrow night without telling the whole audience I am pregnant,'" Jessie wrote, and shared a photo of her flashing a positive Clearblue pregnancy test. "By yesterday afternoon I was dreading the thought of getting through the gig without breaking down…After going for my 3rd scan and being told there was no longer a heartbeat."

The British singer vowed to go through with her acoustic performance in Los Angeles "because I know singing tonight will help me."  She added, "My soul needs it. Even more today."

As for revealing what happened, she explained, "I want to be honest and true and not hide what I'm feeling..I want to be as myself as I can be in this moment. Not just for the audience but for myself and my little baby that did [its] best."

If you're wondering who the father is, Jessie also explained that she'd decided to "have a baby on my own. Because it's all I've ever wanted and life is short."

While she's currently "in shock," Jessie assured fans, "I know I am strong, and I know I will be ok." She noted that she now feels "connected" to the "millions of women" who've "felt this pain," noting, "it's the loneliest feeling in the world."

Fans immediately reached out, leading Jessie to post on Wednesday afternoon, "Your overwhelming instant outpour of love is felt, received and appreciated beyond measure. And has got me out of bed this morning. Thank you."

Lance Bass has often said that Britney Spears is like a little sister to him -- but as it turns out, she's literally a distant relative.

The genealogy company sponsors a YouTube series called 2 Lies & a Leaf, and on Monday's episode, Lance got the shocking news that he and Britney are sixth cousins once removed.

On the episode, Lance and his husband, Michael Turchin, were asked to guess which one of three famous musicians is part of Lance's family tree: Faith Hill, Elvis Presley or Britney Spears.  Lance says he wants it to be Britney, but he felt there was "no way," so he guessed Elvis.  Michael guessed Britney, and he was right.

"That is so crazy, though, because I feel like she's my little sister, and this whole time, she's been my little cousin!" Lance exclaimed. "And it makes sense 'cause we were born an hour from each other. This is so cool!"

Lance was born in Laurel, Mississippi, while Britney was born in McComb, Mississippi.

"I mean, this means so much to me!" Lance continued. "I mean, she is like family to me, so the fact that we're, like, blood-related is amazing."  Lance even claims that when they were very young, he always thought there was a family resemblance.

In other "Lance Bass' relatives" news, he and Michael are already teaching their newborn twins about Daddy Lance's musical legacy.  Lance posted a pic of little Alexander and Violet wearing "We're *NSYNC" onesies, with the caption "They're tearin' up my heart."

Jimmy Fallon has revealed that Taylor Swift will appear on The Tonight Show on Thursday, November 11, the day before she releases Red (Taylor's Version).

Jimmy broke the news by tweeting a video of himself pinning a card with Taylor's name on it onto his bulletin board showing his upcoming guests. Actually, he first pins up the card using a clear pushpin, then takes it down and tacks it back up with a red pushpin, as one of Taylor's hits from Red, "I Knew You Were Trouble," plays.

One Swiftie pointed out that the video is 13 seconds long -- with 13, of course, being Taylor's lucky number.

Taylor is doing something of an NBC takeover next week: In addition to appearing on The Tonight Show on November 11, she'll also be on Late Night with Seth Meyers that same evening. Then, on November 13, she'll be the musical guest on Saturday Night Live.

Red (Taylor's Version) is the second re-recorded album that Taylor's released, following Fearless (Taylor's Version), which came out back in April and hit number one.

(POTENTIAL SPOILER ALERT) Some fans would already call Harry Styles a superhuman, but now he might be playing one in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

The potential casting news came out of last night’s L.A. premiere of The Eternals. Variety writer Matt Donnelly tweeted, “Big reveal from #TheEternals premiere -- Harry Styles has joined the MCU as Eros, brother of Thanos.

Eros -- also known as Starfox in the comics -- is said to be the complete opposite of the evil Thanos, who was played by Josh Brolin in The Avengers and Guardians of the Galaxy films. He's carefree and has the power to change people's emotions. To quote Marvel's own database, "Eros grew up to be a fun-loving, carefree womanizer in contrast to his brother..."

Do with that what you will, tabloids.

Apparently, Harry makes a cameo as the character at the end of The Eternals. Variety editor Marc Malkin also tweeted, "When Harry Styles shows up in the MCU. Audience squealed."

The Eternals hits theaters November 5.

Some artists will sing about their personal problems, but not many would sing about them in front of a screen filled with news headlines about their personal problems.  Demi Lovato and G-Eazy do just that in their latest video, and they recreated it Tuesday night for The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.

Performing their new duet "Breakdown," Demi and G-Eazy stood next to each other onstage, each in front of a video screen.  Demi's monitor displayed news headlines like, "Demi Lovato Says She Wanted to Give Up," "Demi Lovato: Shocking 911 Call" and "Demi Lovato Suffered Three Strokes After Overdose."

Meanwhile, the rapper performed in front of a screen with headlines like, "G-Eazy Arrested for Assault and Drug Possession," "G-Eazy Sentenced in Swedish Court" and "More G-Eazy Breakup Drama."

As G-Eazy delivered the song's lyrics -- which detail how the pressures of fame and having so many people depend on him led him to make bad decisions -- Demi sang the hook, "Oh, I'm in the middle of a breakdown baby/I need you to come over/and tell me this'll be over soon."

The two shared a hug at the end of the performance.

"Breakdown" is from G-Eazy's new album These Things Happen Too, which came out on Friday.  He told Apple Music's Zane Lowe that he applauds Demi's "bravery" in sharing their troubles "on a very, very, very public level."

Just four months after welcoming their first child together, Jason Derulo and his girlfriend Jena Frumes have broken up.

The couple started dating in March of 2020, and Jena has been a constant presence in Jason's TikTok videos.  The two welcomed son Jason King on May 8.

On Twitter today, Jason wrote, "Jena and I have decided to part ways. She is an amazing mother but we feel being apart at this time will allow us to be the best versions of ourselves and the best parents we could be. Pls respect our privacy in this time."

Jason and Jena have the same birthday -- September 21 -- and People captured an Instagram post Jenna put up Wednesday showing the two marking the occasion in Aspen, Colorado -- a post she later deleted.

"Blessed to share the same day of birth with my lover. You are the most handsome, hardworking, talented, silly, loving human ever," Jena wrote about Jason in the post. "You truly make me whole and I'm so grateful for the love we share. You and our mini make me the happiest girl in the world and I can't wait to make more memories with you guys."

She continued, "I know I'm a tough cookie but you make me soft and accept me for who I am and I'm forever grateful for that. Cheers to another year! I love you so much, forever."

Although she deleted that post, her Insta is still filled with pics of Jason.  And Jena is still on Jason's Instagram as well.

Fans want Lizzo to star in a remake of The Bodyguard with Chris Evans -- and she’s all for it.

After news emerged this week that the 1992 Whitney Houston/Kevin Costner film would be getting a “reimagining,” the internet started throwing out suggestions for the lead roles.

One person tweeted Lizzo and the Captain America star as their picks, while another responded to the news by tweeting side-by-side photos of the two, writing, “Ur welcome.” After seeing the posts, Lizzo used them in a humorous TikTok video that she captioned “What y’all think?” with a smirking emoji.

The comments were overwhelmingly in favor of the casting.

Lizzo and Evans have had a back-and-forth Internet “romance” for months that began when Lizzo admitted she drunkenly slid into the actor’s DMs. In July, Lizzo joked that she was pregnant with Evans’ baby, calling their fake bundle of joy “little America.”

Evans went along with the gag, messaging her, "Hi! Just heard about our little bundle of joy my mother will be so happy lol."
